The Northeast Texas Public Health District (NET Health) works with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies to resolve public health hazards. Public spaces must be maintained in a sanitary condition to prevent the possible transmission of disease.
Man-made problems that provide conditions where insects and rodents may breed must be identified and corrections made to prevent the possible transmission of disease.
Wastewater and waste products must be disposed of properly to prevent conditions that could transmit waterborne diseases.
Chapter 341 of the Health and Safety Code provides for the regulation of public health hazards.
Complaints may be filed with NET Health by calling (903) 535 - 0037 or by email at EnvironmentalHealth@NETPHD.org.
